at first, yeah. there was a sudden reversal of fates at the last minute. like he started forcing himself to act like a completely different person to win it all. pretty weird, actually, now that I think about it...

well, usually what happens is that i end up stalking them first. it puts a heady dose of paranoia in them, you know? that really sets the stage.

You said you're a manticore, correct? How difficult is it to stalk them?

not very. even with my hands damaged the way they are, i'm still able to move silently and stealthily on all fours, and my sense of smell and hearing lets me keep track of them even if i lose sight of them-which is rare, unless they're really in a crowd. it's become child's play by this point.
