Shingo has the body structure of a Fossa and his color scheme will slowly start resembling Abyss Actor Pretty Heroine as more and more changes settle in. His wings are based off a Franquet's Epauletted Fruit Bat.

CURRENT CHANGES (AS OF 09/18/16)

Shingo has been completely covered in grey-colored fur, with the fur on his palms, feet, and belly being more velvety smooth than the rest. His snout has been slightly lengthened to more resemble the fossa his form is based on, as well as his ears.

His teeth have sharpened greatly to resemble fangs, and his canine teeth tend to glint and show whenever he grins.

His eyes have not changed color from their grey shade, but the pupils are now slitted. 

His tail has sprouted into a generic braided scorpion's tail, split into three prongs with ball-like nubbins as their base to resemble Pretty Heroine's three ponytails. 

Despite all the fur, though, he's actually gotten weaker to cold and will probably complain excessively about it.

Shingo's hair has lengthened and thickened into a long mane. The brownish colored bangs on the side tend to get in his face excessively often.

His senses have sharpened, and his speed and jumping prowess have been growing steadily in the days after his second change. He's also gained a habit of sleeping in high or inconvenient places due to this increased ability, so he's often found sleeping in tree branches or building roofs. This has also lead to more cathermal (irregular) sleeping habits. 

Shingo has become more prone to speaking indirectly or deceptively, but he's not quite savvy enough to pull it off just yet...

Shingo's arms have been lengthened to the point that they reach past his knees. This makes it so that he's easier able to perch and walk on all fours in regular form, but because of his injured paws he tends to rest more on his wrists when sitting and walking. This, combined with his half-fossa snout, makes him look more monkey-like than catlike at times...

Shingo has grown a large set of batlike wings that have additional tufts of white fur covering both his shoulders and about one-fourth of each wing's limb length. He often keeps them folded back because of their large size (one he learns how) and sometimes tends to lose his balance if he ever unfolds them unexpectedly. 

Shingo requires human meat at least bi-monthly, and between those times has a taste for game and fruits when he wants to whet his appetite. (He especially loves fruits, and prefers to eat those than drink water if he's thirsty.)

Shingo has not yet discovered his newly granted melodic voice or travel form abilities.

As of the Kulen event in April 2016, Shingo has been infested with one of its parasites and has been slowly accumulating changes over the course of several months. Whether these changes are permanent or not remains to be seen Several changes have now been lost after the parasite left him, but due to having consumed one of the stolen crab eggs that were blessed by the queen he has kept some physical traits., which are explained in greater detail below.

Shingo has a greater need to drag out the hunting of prey; namely, the desire to stalk the target for as long as possible, then use abilities to hypnotize, paralyze, and poison the prey and watch them succumb before eating them. Doing so gives him the feeling that each meal gives him more energy. He also recently gained the need to drag out the potential of each meal to the fullest, and becomes overly meticulous about eating the victim, down to consuming every last trace of them. Since the parasite has left him, this desire has died down somewhat, but he's felt a need to make a show out of every killing, regardless. He still tries to avoid using manticore abilities to trap the victim, however.

Attitudes towards certain monster types have changed. He adores other manticores, gargoyles, fairies, trolls, and merpeople; while despising harpies, wendigos, werebears, werewolves, goblins, and minotaurs to the point of nearly attacking them on sight. He tries to make exceptions for previously known monsters, but he can't entirely hide the feeling. 

Shingo has become even nosier about prying into others' secrets, and finds pleasure in spreading information whenever he gets a chance to blab his mouth. Despite this flaw (and many others), he is starting to actually be aware of how people may perceive this habit (and many, many others) and will become defensive over his actions. He will deny any wrongdoing and try to mask it whenever possible.

Shingo has become extremely territorial over his "group," largely perceived as the Arc-T and any friends he's made outside of it. As such, he'll get defensive over any "claims" he sees to it, and feels a sense of duty to his "allies," as it is. Despite his general laziness towards hunting, he'll find a need to hunt for them and leave dead or dying "gifts" for them. Whether they want it or not. 

Shingo's claws and teeth have grown larger, and he is starting to grow additional rows of teeth. His bite has become venomous thanks to his saliva slowly becoming toxic. He has gained a foot of height, and two extra feet of tail, with the appropriate addition of bulk and muscle to match, leaving him looking somewhat stockier than before. Patches of fur starting to grow over his body have thickened into a new fur coat, even resulting in a velvet-like coating of fur on the outside of his wings. This fur coat has thinned out somewhat after the parasite has left him, but it is still left thicker than when he first started. His mane has also lengthened and thickened as well. Lumps on his feet have grown into fully hardened spikes, capable of goring a victim with a single kick. His tongue has a rougher, sandpapery texture, capable of licking flesh straight off of the bone. 

INJURIES/MARKINGS

There are many scars on his hands paws from when he initially arrived on the peninsula and was driven to tear his hands up digging through mountain bedrock to find his device, and the muscles beneath them are irreversibly damaged. The palms of his hands paws are also scabbed over from burns due to trying to catch Yuzu the gargoyle when she slipped up. It is highly unlikely that he will recover complete mobility in his fingers despite his attempts to self-therapy.

11/01/2015 - Thanks to the All Hallows' Eve event, he has a green rune imprinted over the left side of his face like so, in the shape of the Abyss Actor crest. It glows slightly in the dark. 

10/20/2016 - When Tsukikage went berserk, Sawatari was one of the monsters who confronted him during his rampage in the city. While narrowly managing to kill him, he loses the chance due to his own hesitation and ends up with claw marks gouged into his chest before driving the ninja spider off. It's hard to spot with his longhaired fur coat, but the scars are deep and wide enough that no fur grows where the scar tissue is, giving the fur there a distinct ripple pattern, almost like a ruffled cravat.

CHANGES (ALL HALLOWS' EVE 2K15 EDITION)

After entering the holes on Plaga's Peak, Shingo came out a fully-transformed Arachne.

He has the body structure of a Sun Spider/Wind Scorpion, with the coloring and general appearance of Block Spider. So, his spider body is very brightly colored and seems to be segmented into lego-like parts, while his legs are white and have markings on them to make them look similarly segmented. His human skin has not changed to match this. And yes, his pendiplaps are shaped like giant gloved hands. They can't really be used to grab anything, however, as they function just like the sensory organs they actually are, so the fingers aren't actually mobile enough to make physical grabbing motions.

His eyes have not changed color, but they have shrunken down to small beady round dots. Also, there's eight of them. 

His fingers have changed into sharp claws, and his fangs have grown in place of his canine teeth. 

Shingo has also gained the extremely meticulous nature of the Arachne, and complains excessively if something doesn't feel right to him and he's unable to fix it. He also has his own competitive nature heightened to the extreme, and will doggedly pursue his own point if it is ever contested.

Shingo has the ability to make intricate webs, and often is seen playing cat's cradle with them between his hands if he's idling about. 

He does not have either types of special venom.

• 02/18/17 - Ends up aggravating Yuzu Hiragi when trying to talk to her after Shun Kurosaki's drop, she murders him in a fit of rage.
